Jace and the Dentist

On Friday March 25, Jace lost his 2nd tooth. He had his 6 week cleaning at Atlantis Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Steve. We just love him and his staff. He has been so wonderful and Jace just loves him. He travels out here once of month from Syracuse. I was hoping that he wouldn't have anything wrong. Jace has the worst teeth!!! I'm embarrassed to even say how much we have sunk into his mouth in the last 2 years. Jace loves his Dad to take him. Curtis took him up and they were gone forever. I was thinking GREAT!!! Then they showed up at home and broke the new that he had to go back up there at 6:30 pm. I guess he had a lump on his gums and they did some x rays and he had a bad infection. His molar was infecting the adult molar that would be coming in. So they had to pull it and put in a spacer. He did such a good job!! When he was coming to he said "Mom, look I have 4 feet"!! He always says the funniest things when he is coming to!! This time he was so out of it and limp. He thought for sure he could walk and was trying so hard! He was just face planting it into the floor! Poor guy!! When he was good to go we got him to the car and he threw up all over. So we had to take him back in to get a shot of Promethazine. He wasn't happy about getting a shot in his butt!! His poor little cheek was so swollen. He was so excited because he knew that he was going to get to put his tooth under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy! We had to wait until the next night because we went to SLC on Sat. to go and visit Dad out at Saint Marks and he had to go and show everyone!! He got a real kick out of that!!

Super Heros

For Christmas Jace got a trunk of super hero costumes. We have been collecting these costumes of his for awhile. He loves to dress up and be different people. For instance he loves to play cowboys, race car drivers, Darth Vader, Buzz Lightyear, Army guys, spiderman, iron man, batman, James Bond, Indiana Jones...... I can go on and on!!! He would rather be these other people and play in his own imagination than actual toys. That's OK with me!! I love his imagination. Cade is finally getting big enough to play with him. Jace will dress him up and off they go on an adventure. Now that my nephew Easton is getting bigger they drag him into it too!!!Its so cute. I hope they all stay this close and grow up to be best buddies!!!

Winter

I'm really behind on blogging but i had to put up these cute pictures of the boys playing outside. They have really enjoyed this winter. They loved helping dad shovel the snow building snowmen, and having snowball fights with each other or just throwing snow at the house!! hahaha We have been fortunate this winter to not have been to sick. Colds here and there but nothing to bad. Jace and Cade are growing fast. Even though they are 3 years apart, Cade is catching up pretty fast!!

A Year of Firsts

So far this year we have celebrated 2 1st Birthdays!! My 2 cute nephews both turned 1 within 2 months of each other. Easton, my brother Jared's baby, turned 1 in Jan. Than in March, Konner, my brother Jeremy's baby also turned 1. We had so much fun at both party's. Eastons party theme was Mickey Mouse. He really loves his Mickey!!! Than Konner celebrated turning 1 with a race car theme. Jace was so excited because he got a race car helmet and he loved it!!! He was running around all night driving his car!!LOL When we got home he wouldn't even take it off. So instead of battling with him, he slept in it!! I just want to say how much I love both of my nephews. It has been so much fun this last year getting to know them better. I know I fall short in some areas when it comes to them, but I am trying!! I cant wait to watch them grow up and become wonderful,strong young men. They both have awesome parents to teach them all they need to know!! I love you guys!
