Halloween

Every year I look forward to Halloween.  First of all it starts off all the wonderful holidays that we all love.  Second I get to spend time with all of my family!!  We are a crazy bunch, but we love each other tons. Aimee took the reins this year with our annual Hancock Halloween Party Extravaganza!! She did a really good job!!  On Friday I still didn't have costumes for me and Curtis.  So Aimee and I went to Old Hags and Bags.  I found the coolest clothes for my old lady costume.  By the way that store is totally awesome.  I will so be going back again.  Then we hit the DI and got Curtis costume.  Aimee totally scored at the DI.  She got a pre lite Christmas tree that looked brand new for $5.  She was so excited!!  Then we hit Wal Mart and got the food.  This took 5 hours.  By the time we were done it was to late to get started baking.  That night we went to the Corn Maze in Bluebell, Ut.  Me and Curtis, Aimee and Jared, Jordan and Joey and Debra Slaugh and there kids went.  It was so stinking cold!!! If we go again I'm so wearing more layers.  We had a really good time.  I love to hang out with  my family.  So on Sat. the baking began.  I went over to Aimees and we got started.  I made pretzels dipped in Carmel and chocolate, sucker oreos dipped in white chocolate and Twinkies mummies and they were dipped in choc and then drizzled in white choc.  The food was so yummy!! We also had 4 different soups to eat in cute pumpkin bread bowls.  I would like to thank everyone who brought stuff!! You are awesome!!  I looked at the clock and it was 3 10 and we had to be at Debras neighborhood at 3 50!!!   We got dressed in record time.  Jace was Darth Vador and Cade was Donald Duck.  I am suppose to be an Yeta from The Nanny but I couldn't find grey hair paint so I'm not sure what I look like!!  Curtis was my little old husband.  We totally rocked our outfits!!!  After we went and did all of our trick or treating which consisted of Debras neighborhood trunk or treat, Sis Valoras house and Jareds neighborhood we headed to back to Jared and Aimees for the party!!  Our family is getting so big.  Next year we are going to have to rent somewhere.  We had a ton of people in there apartment.  It was a blast though.

At our Halloween party we ate and played games and enjoyed each others company.  We played pictonary.  Then we had to take a bit of these apples that were hanging from string.  It was really hard.  Jordan won that game.  Then the kids had to do the same thing with donuts.  It was so cute to watch them!!

Everyone costumes was great.  This is going to take a bit but here is the run down.  Mom was a bag lady, Dad was a hunter is his gilly suit, Jared and Aimee were pirates, Jordan was a hippie, Jerika was a fairy princess, Me and Curt were a retirement couple, Jace was Darth Vador, Cade was Donald Duck, Debra and Joey were Nerds, Konner was a penguin, Wayne was a cowboy, Debbie was and angel, Jerfrilyn was a witch, Robert was a scary skeleton guy??, grandma and grandpa were an nursery rhyme characters.

Halloween Program

Jace's preschool put on a Halloween program for the Beehive home here in Vernal.  Of course it was on a Thur. so Aimee had to shuffle him around.  Thanks a bunch for all you do.  Curtis and I took our lunch and went and watched him.  It was really cute.  He has been singing all these cute Halloween songs for about a month so it was cute to finally hear the complete version.  Jace isn't a shy person but when he got up there he froze.  Towards the end he loosened up a bit and started to sing.  I was so proud of him.  He is growing up to fast.  He got to wear his spider man costume because I wouldn't let him wear his real costume.  I knew being at preschool for 3 hours would totally ruin it!!!  He loves to dress up.  So any costume suits him just fine.  Escpecially if its any superhero!

Sundays

Today was our wards Primary program.  Jace has had his part memorized for about 2 weeks now.  Id quiz him threw out the day.  I think he would get annoyed with me because he would say "mom I already now my part!"  Grandma Debbie came to church with us today to watch Jace. She is one proud Grandma. I ask her if she was out for hire because Cade was so good today.  He just sat there the whole time with his grandma.  It was really nice.  So the program started and Jace's class was the second class to go up.  He went up to the mike and told his teacher he didn't need help and then said his part.  "Jesus Christ loves me too."  I was so proud of him.  Then we start watching him and he was being horrible up on the stand.  I was so embarrassed!  He and his friend Jacob were dancing and hitting each other and goofing around!! Finally I had to go up there and sit with him.  Even then he still wouldn't behave.  Man 4 year old are alot of work.  Especially my Jace. I love him so much though. I was so proud of him today.  Tonight my brother Jared came over with his wife and son.  We had a golf tournament.  Man I got my butt kicked!!! I mean bad!! Jared and Curtis are really good!! My score was like +25!! Man i need to practice more!! We have so much fun when we get together.  I don't know what I would do without them.

The Glue that Holds us Together

My father in law Wayne turned 58 on Oct. 14!! Happy Birthday Dad!!  We love you.  I might be bias but I have to say that I have the best father in law in the world.  He is always there for us and he always has the answers to everything.  He is a very wise man.  This year for his present we were trying to think of something that he would love to have.  Debbie suggested we get him some large print scriptures.  So I called all the siblings and they said lets do it!!  Wayne was so surprised when he opened them up.  He has wanted some for forever.  It made us feel really good because we new he really, really loved his gift.  For his birthday dinner he wanted KFC.  So we went over for dinner and cake and ice cream.  All Cade wanted was the cake.  Both of my boys are such candyholics!!! Its kind of scary!!LOL  Debbie got Wayne the cutest card I have ever seen.  It was two little kids holding hands walking with there backs to you and you open it and it said "I will never let go, Never."  Wayne and Debbie are such a great example to me.  The are just darling.  Our card said something about the dad being the glue that holds the family together.  I think that is so true.  Wayne is the glue to are family.  All of his boys are so close to him.  We really are such a close family.  Glue is so important and Wayne is that glue.  I'm so thankful to have been blessed with such wonderful in laws!

Fall

My favorite time of the year is fall.  I love everything about it.  The colors, smells, leaves, pumpkins, the cool crisp breeze.  My boys love to rake up the leaves and then jump in them.  They can do that over and over again.  Then they started hiding there toys in the leaves and was trying to find them.  The small things in life are the things that bring me the most joy!

Never To Old To Play

<>    Jace and Cade love to go to the park to play. There favorite park is the Naples park.  It has so many fun things to do.  They also love it when Uncle Jared and Aunt Aimee come along.  Uncle Jared chases them and gets right down on there level to play.  It is the funniest thing to watch.  Jace kept giving wedgies so Jared put him upside down on the fence post.  That's whats going on in the picture above.  We were laughing so hard!!  After a min. or so he went and got him down.  Jace just loves his Uncle Jared even though it gets rough sometimes!!!
<><>
My nephew Easton.  He likes to eat the grass and then choke so he cant get out of his stroller to much!!!hahaha
Cade loves to swing. It makes me so sick to watch them so Aunt Aimee was nice enough to push him!!
Jared and Aimee!!! Its always a blast to hang out with them!!!

Ok so Jared is always complaining how Aimee beats him up.  I know funny right!!!hahaha  Aimee is just a small little thing.  I hear this story all the time.  Well at the park today I got to witness first hand how true it is!!!!  Aimee just jump on Jared and wrapped her legs around him and down he went.  It was the funniest thing I have ever seen.  Then she put him in a head lock.  All I have to say is that I will never mess with Aimee!!!
