92 Years

My grandma Merl Horrocks turned 92 years old on March 23.  I have to give her a lot of credit because she is still doing fairly well.  She lives with my parents now but she still can do a lot of things for herself.  Her memory is going really fast though.  Everyday is different with what she remembers.  Its hard to watch sometimes.  Especially when she doesn't know me.  My mom is such an amazing person.  She has so much going on but she does it all.  I know some days she says she is going crazy but she always makes it work somehow.  Thanks for all that you sacrifice mom.  Happy Birthday to a very special Grandma!! Most of my younger memories involve my Grandma.  She was a huge part of my life growing up!!  I love you so much!

After cake and ice cream Jace, Cade and Easton went outside to help my dad burn weeds.  Oh my goodness what a mess!  Jace had to be in the middle of it all and Cade was more concerned about getting wet!  Overall they had a really good time.

After they were done helping Grandpa, Cade was soaking wet!  So we had to strip him down and dry his clothes.  He had to run around in his undies for awhile.  He found a lego wagon and was pulling Easton around in it.  Easton loved it.  Than they got Grandmas Ipad out and were playing it.  Or Jace was playing and all the kids were watching:)

Naples Elementary Vocabulary Parade

Every year Naples Elementary does a vocabulary parade.  They let the kids pick a word and than they dress up like the word.  Jace chose camouflage.  He dressed up in all his camo.  Isabel wanted to be breakfast.  She wore an apron and was suppose to be carrying a cereal box.  They both looked so cute! I was proud of them.
Jace is in the middle.  He forgot to put in his sign that said camouflage.

Konner's Party

Konner Hancock, my nephew, turned 2 on March 3.  He loves trains right now so that's what they did his party in.  Dianne did a really good job.  His party was at the Ubet building in Roosevelt.  He got lots of cute things. The boys got to bring home a train and a train cup and goodie bag.  They thought it was pretty cool.

My sister in law Dianne and Konner- Make a wish!

Best Buddies

After I was done with New Beginnings, I got to bring home the unfinished castle.  Jace and Isabel had such a fun time coloring it.  It was in my front room for a week and they played in it the whole time.  After that mom had to have her space back hehehe!  If you ask Jace who his best friend is he will say Isabel.  I have already talked to her parents and we decided that they should have an arranged marriage. So it is set, they just don't know it yet!!

Young Women's New Beginning's

In February we had our New Beginning's for Young Women's.  Yes, I am still in Young Women's and loving it.   I'm going on 3 years as the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's presidency.  New Beginning's is where we welcome all the girls who will be turning 12 years old in 2012.  We put on a program and give all the new girls a treasure box full of everything they will need for YW.  This year we went with a princess theme.  We did our play based on  the book The Parable of the Princesses by Jenny Phillips.  It turned out awesome.  We even recruited a young man to help us out.  Thanks to all the young women who put in so much time for this wonderful evening.  Welcome all new Beehives (we have 3, I'm so excited)

MOM'S 49TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

On February 27th my mom, Becky, turned 49!! Where have the years gone.  My dad planned a big party for her at Cafe Rio.  My nephews Konner and Easton were so excited for the cake.  They kept poking it. They would not leave its side.  It was hilarious.  We had most of my dads family there. It was a blast to hang out with everyone.  Lots of love to you Mom, Happy Birthday!!
